On Wednesday, October 9th, Health for All was joined by forty frontline workers from Toronto Public Health, community health centres, settlement workers, youth outreach workers, nurses, social workers and more. Together, we explored Canada’s history of colonization/immigration, our own migration histories, an understanding of the broader immigration system, the ways in which people become uninsured and how to help, and finally how to build a solidarity city in Toronto, and what we can all do individually in our lives and workspaces as well as collectively to build a fair and just immigration system.
